So, well, this took way too long, didn’t it? So long that I have no idea what to talk about now. And I’m really tired and really hungry. You know it’s nearly eight and I haven’t eaten yet? I HATE THIS KIND OF TREATMENT. But, you know, I’m over it. You know, I actually really don’t want to write this blog, so sorry if I’m not as entertaining as I usually am? IT’S NOT MY FAULT RECENTLY I’VE JUST BEEN THIS BIG LUMP OF FATIGUE and okay what do I talk about, so much has happened. Just to tell you guys, this is gonna be super long so grab a drink and a snack and get ready for a very belated blog post.
… you know, I SAY this is gunna be long, but most probably I’ll get bored and end up leaving this half-finished like these drafts I have saved here. From like, Christmas time. AND OH, CHRISTMAS TIME. LET’S TALK ABOUT THAT. So remember that wedding I was going to in Osaka? Well it was pretty shitty and all westernized and really cliche and staged and I swear if my wedding ends up like that I am getting a divorce straight away and doing it over. >:[ Also, I think I’m just bitter because I had a HUUUUGE major fight with my host family, but thus realised that I love my hostbrohoe. He’s so awesome. I swear I dunno what I’m gunna do when I go home without Kensuke in my life. Actually, the only reason I really stand my host-sister’s bitchy attitude is because I have the best oniichan ever. But anyways, I’m not going to go much into the wedding, it’s a kinda be-there-done-that-bought-the-shitty-t-shirt topic. But I did wear a kimono. It was super embarrassing. Oh, and the pain is so not worth the looking pretty.
After that was Christmas. Christmas really isn’t exciting here, so I can safely say I had the worst Christmas ever. But it was still fun! I took the train down to Fuku(oka), and met up with my exchange student biffle, Melissa. We are so tight, I’m gonna miss her so much when I leave. ;__; Anyways, then we went to my area-rep’s house for a Christmas party, and there was Nicole my other BFF, who’s left now. It’s a shame, so many exchange students I hung with at orientation and camp Tokyo have left… it’s wierd, we were only together for a few days, but I feel like we became AMAZING friends. I can’t wait until I go back to Tokyo to see them again, if just for one night. I get to meet with Isato and Melissa and Justine and all that lot. BUT GUESS WHO’S GETTING OFF TOPIC HERE. I also met a Finnish person who was at orientation at the party, and I was so fucking hyper, I was the loudest there and Nicole was all like “I DON’T KNOW HOW ANYONE COULD NOT LIKE YOU” while I was shouting “GUYS DON’T SAY IT I KNOW EXACTLY WHERE ASH KETCHUM COMES FROM YOU SAY BEFORE I REMEMBER AND I’LL KILL YOU”. So like, wow, Nicole has strange standards for friends. We drew a lot, but I deleted the photos I took of everyone drawing me (btw I am bored of writing this already arghhh), even though some were really good.
Why did I delete them, I’m such an idiot. So yeah, the xmas party was fun but nothing really special. I ended up staying at Melissa’s house, and then we went shopping on boxing day and Melissa’s awesome host mum bought be a whole box of Mr. Donuts. SERIOUSLY? PEOPLE JUST CANNOT STOP BUYING ME STUFF HERE.
Okay, xmas party over, next is SHUUGAKU RYOKO. Which is, essentially, the school trip every second year student has to take to the wonderful mountains of Hokkaido in order to learn to ski. It was, without a doubt, one of the best times of my exchange. I can’t quite explain how amazing it was, how many new friends I made… it was just brilliant. I shared a room with my mate Kana for Kyuudo and we just sat at night and DREW. It was so nostalgic, like drawing with Nikki. And Kana is soooooo good at drawing. She draws like super cool manga stuff. Actually, I’m sure I jacked a few of her pictures for great justice, so maybe I’ll show them on facebook if anyone really cares LOL. I keep saying she should become a mangaka, or she should draw me. She refuses to do either. >:[ Anyways, we shared a room, and my Japanese improved soooooo much because we just sat up all night talking about the most ridiculous things. Actually, we talked a lot about Japanese myths, like kappas and tanukis. It was pretty fun. I ended up spending most of the SR time with Kana, because we were in the same skii group and everything. BY THE WAY, I CAN NOW SKII? As Isato and I would say… ACHIEVEMENT!
Man, cannot WAIT until Tokyo….
Anyways, back to SR. Skiing was fun. I was in a group full of lots of people but I mainly hung with Kana and Mahiro who are both in Kyuudo club (though Mahiro rarely ever comes and totally won’t stop perving on me, she reminds me a lot of Rachel…) and their friend Tomomi (a different Tomomi from Kyuudo club Tomomi). Tomomi is so sweet, we’d help each other over the ice and be all like “I’LL BE YOUR EYES” and “YOU CAN COUNT ON ME TO CARRY YOU TO SAFETY” and Kana, being really kakkoi and stuff was all, “OMAERA, STOP ACTING LIKE LOVERS”. I dunno how to explain omaera. Just that I could never get away with saying it. ;__; Man, I wish I could get away with half the things Kana says, because she’s so cool~ I TOTALLY HAVE A JAPANESE HERO COMPLEX HERE. Anyways, we spent a lot of nights at the legendary Sapporo Factory, and the first time I hung with my mates Rei, Yui and Ayaka but after that I hung with Kana again and my friend Ayumi. I guess I just know them better, seeing as they’re in my club and all. And I dunno, hanging out with them was easier at the time. I mean I love Rei and Yui and Ayaka a lot more now, but now that I’ve changed classes (I’ll get onto that later) I doubt our friendship will grow. So yeah, SR was soooo fun, I wish there was another one now that my Japanese is better, haha.
OKAY GUYS, THAT’S ENOUGH FOR TODAY, I WANT TO GO WATCH SOME MORE BOUNEN NO XAM’D. YEAH, YOU GUYS SHOULD DO THAT TOO (or study, like I should be doing). So, expect a continuation tomorrow and LEAVE A COMMENT OR I TURN MY BOWS AND ARROWS ON YOU. Did you think there was a lack of Kyuudo in this post? Well, don’t you worry, young blog followers! Because the next installment of DENSETSU NO BIKI NO BOUKEN (the legendary Kiki’s adventure) or um… GIRL AND THE RISING SUN, will have so much delicious Kyuudo gossip that you will never want to hear the word Kyuudo again.
PEACE OOOUUT~
